Take the leap.

Are you afraid of being away from your phone? #WDS #tether

Did you know two out of three people in the UK check their mobile phones 34 times a day?

The Daily Mail wrote about nomophobia, the fear of being without a mobile phone.

You can only know 150 people well at any one time.

So why is it that we have so many volumes of things to say to so many more people, at any one time, through various communication channels? Is such an information avalanche normal?

These are the kinds of questions that prompted our Northwest tour for a roundtable series, TETHER, which kicks off TOMORROW in Portland, OR, and moves to Seattle next Tuesday, July 10.

TETHER wants to know, what keeps us grounded?

  • Do you have things that are consistently there in your life, that you wouldn’t be able to let go of because having them means you’re grounded?
  • Is it school? Is it work? A place? A person? Tell us what you think the different kinds of tethers could be.
